Hi friends
I have been struggling for a few weeks with my ongoing health challenges and as a result I have to carve out more time for rest for myself as I’m currently extremely exhausted. This has some challenges for me as there are others I provide support to on a daily basis as well as balancing my own needs. It’s not easy for me cutting anything out! Don’t worry - I’m not stopping writing! After much thought I’ve decided to work at reducing everything I do a little bit and hopefully giving myself a bit more space to rest.
For our 5 Senses to Prayer Virtual Prayer Room my ‘reduce’ idea is to publish three different prayers each week that I’ve previously written up but have either never published or at least not published for several years. They’re all prayers I’ve used personally or in group situations - so they’re tried and tested in real life settings. What I’m hoping is that this means you’ll continue to receive weekly content that’s fresh and useful in your personal or group settings. What will be missing each week is the intro pieces I put together. There may also be less of a connection between the prayers than usual…. a little bit more chaotic rather than carefully curated. I’ll group them on their sense.
I hope this is a happy compromise for the next five-ish weeks. I really appreciate your support of my writing and your enthusiam for experiential praying.
