Christ is Risen!
He is Risen indeed.
Christians all over the world celebrate the Resurrection of Christ.
Our prayers this weekend pick up the theme of new life and new beginnings. They invite us to embrace our inner child and use our visual sense to celebrate.
The symbol of the caterpillar and the butterfly has often been used to illustrate the Resurrection. The caterpillar is buried in a cocoon or chrysalis and then transforms into a beautiful butterfly.
Anyone who belongs to Christ is a new person. The past is forgotten, and everything is new.
